BP2017

The bi-annual British Potato show took place on the 22nd and 23rd November at Harrogate. The Greenvale stand had a prominent position in the main hall and with a striking modern design which stood out well.

This year we focussed on promoting two of our business units Greenvale Seed and Produce Solutions and the great offering available from both businesses. The stand was busy over both days with lots of interest from growers and the wider industry.

On the evening of the 22nd Nick Douglas and the procurement team hosted a grower dinner. With so many of our growers attending the show, this gave us a good opportunity to invite them to an
event at which we could network and also at the same time recognise them for their hard work and commitment to Greenvale. It was also a good opportunity to recognise Robert Baird who collected his 35 year service award from Angus and Nick.

After dinner light hearted entertainment was delivered by the impressionist Jon Culshaw who took to the stage taking requests from the audience. Some great impressions were delivered from sports stars and entertainers and who else but Donald Trump! A successful and enjoyable event overall.
