Blooming marvellous appointment at Rowe Farming

Now enjoying her first month in the role, Cari Davies has been appointed Senior Commercial Manager at Rowe Farming in Helston, Cornwall, one of the UK’s leading producers of outdoor, handpicked daffodils and salad potatoes.

Rowe Farming was impressed by Cari’s vast experience in the cut flower market, most recently at Butters Group, and her new role at Rowe will include the continuing development of relationships with customers within the UK and overseas, and championing the innovation, quality and value of Rowe’s cut flower and dry bulb offerings to retailers. Cari will also be working alongside Rowe’s Managing Director Rob Stacey on the potato business.

Having grown up in Cornwall, Cari’s return to the area is like being ‘back home’. She says of her appointment, “Rowe Farming is an extremely progressive company, thanks to a strong talented team and a focus for getting the job done. I am delighted to take on the challenge of the new role and relish the opportunity to continue to develop the business growth alongside my colleagues.

About Rowe Farming

Rowe Farming’s state of the art site near Penzance benefits from an early flowering season – 24 million bunches are picked each year, and 4.5-5K tonnes of bulbs are lifted.

All 60 varieties grown by Rowe have been developed for vigour, quality and seasonality, and the bigger bulbs championed by the company mean best quality and growing experience for the customer.

The only daffodil grower of this scale to pick by hand, all staff are employed directly by Rowe Farming, which mean staff get a fairer deal and more job stability.
