Greenvale all rounders have Christmas in the bag!

Greenvale, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of fresh potatoes, has Christmas in the bag with a festive version of its 2kg bags of Greenvale All Rounder Potatoes. The new design will be available from mid November until the end of December.

The distinctive paper bags have been updated with a jolly Christmas Greenvale potato on a snowy winter backdrop, which will ensure that the brand is highly visible at a time of year when products are fighting for space and vying for consumer attention.

As Tracey Mattock, Marketing Manager at Greenvale, explains: “The bags have been created to add interest to the fresh produce aisle and, with its light hearted design, we hope we’ll make shoppers smile. The bags will give the brand standout over the Christmas period when the shelves are particularly busy – our Greenvale potatoes are great all rounders and perfect to make the best roast potatoes. We want to make sure consumers see them in time for the ‘big day’.”

Launched in February 2012, the Greenvale All Rounder Potatoes brand is currently performing strongly in a declining potato market experiencing a growth of +42% YoY* and is valued at £6.3 million. The award winning potatoes, which are the Jelly variety and grown exclusively for Greenvale, are genuine all rounders ideal for mashing, roasting, baking or even for chips and wedges.
